MCAS Beaufort is located in Beaufort County, South Carolina, approximately 50 miles south-southwest of Charleston, South Carolina, and approximately 40 miles northeast of Savannah, Georgia. MCAS Beaufort encompasses 5,841 acres, which are located generally east of U.S. Highway 21 and include the main airfield complex, associated operational facilities, and 134 existing and occupied family housing units.
