MCRD Parris Island is an island complex of 6,710 acres located approximately six miles southeast of MCAS Beaufort. MCRD Parris Island is home to the Eastern Recruiting Region and Recruit Training for all male Marines east of the Mississippi and all female Marines nationwide. The historic grounds of Parris Island contain some of the most coveted amenities in real estate. Deep water access, water and marsh views throughout the community, golf course and clubhouse are just a few of the amenities offered by the base.
Atlantic Marine Corps Communities at Tri-Command is home to 260 newly constructed homes on MCRD Parris Island. Parris Island has three and four bedroom homes available to all ranks.
AMCC at Tri-Command matched that country-club feel with brand new housing, playgrounds and a Parris Island Community Center. The Parris Island Community Center features a 24-hour fitness center, children's play area, large family swimming pool as well as a kiddie pool. Parris Island offers proximity to work and shopping. Both the MCCS Exchange and Commissary are located on Parris Island grounds. Community activities, summer camps and extended learning programs are offered on site as well through the many organizations affiliated with MCRD Parris Island.
