Atlantic Marine Corps Communities would like to welcome you to become our resident! Our philosophy is Residents First in everything! We invite you to see the difference in the new realm of private sector military housing management. We invite you take a tour of all of our properties at Parris Island, MCAS Air Station, Naval Hospital and Laurel Bay. We encourage all arriving residents to take a hour tour in our courtesy van. The “Wow Tour” is specialized to meet each resident’s needs. During the “Wow Tour” residents are able to see a new model home, recreational areas, playgrounds and many community amenities.

Once you have seen all that Atlantic Marine Corps Communities at Tri-Command has to offer, you can schedule an appointment at our housing offices located on Parris Island and Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort. At the Military Housing office, you will fill out a Housing Application. Atlantic Marine Corps Communities will receive your referral from the Military Housing Office. At that time, we will assign a home to you based on availability, rank in the service and the number of persons occupying the home. A new AMCC address will be given to you one week prior to a scheduled move-in date.

 Move-In

Once a house is assigned, you will receive confirmation one week prior to a scheduled move-in date at Atlantic Marine Corps Communities. You will meet your personal Resident Service Coordinator at your home to go over features of the homes, community and Tri-Command Communities. During the move-in, you will also sign your lease and all paper work. The keys to your new home will be given at that time.

After the one hour move-in appointment, you may move all of your items in!

What is the lease term for a Department of Defense Employee or a Military Retiree?

The initial lease term for both Department of Defense Employees and Military Retirees is one year.  After the year is complete the lease switches over to month-to-month.

Do Department of Defense Employees and Military Retirees have to pay a refundable security deposit at move-in?

Yes, both Department of Defense Employees and Military Retirees pay a $200 refundable security deposit at move-in.

Can Military Retirees live with Atlantic Marine Corps Communities at Tri-Command?

Yes!  AMCC at Tri-Command is happy to now welcome Military Retirees to both the Laurel Bay and Pine Grove Communities!

Do Department of Defense Employees and Military Retirees go through a background check when applying for housing?

Qualified Department of Defense Employees and Military Retirees who apply for housing will be charged a $25 application fee to cover a background check and credit check prior to being approved to live with Atlantic Marine Corps Communities at Tri-Command.

I heard that single Marines and Sailors can live on base. How does that work?

Yes, at this time, we are accepting applications for Active Duty Military Bachelors!  Geo and Bonafide Bachelors qualify. 

You can also live with a roommate and split the rent!

E3-E5 Qualify if:

They receive BAH on-right

They have command approval

One person per bedroom

 

When will I find out my mailing address to change my contact information?

You can contact the MHO 7 days prior to your move-in appointment to receive your new mailing information.

Can we select a home or is one assigned?

You can most certainly let your TCC representative know which home styles you are interested in. They will do their best to try and fit your needs and interests. Just make sure you choose a home style that is within your rank and family size.

What is the wait list like?

To ensure that TCC has a home available for you and your family, we recommend that you submit your housing application and supporting documentation 60 to 90 days in advance of your arrival in Beaufort. Wait times vary based on availability, family size, rank and several other factors. In some cases, a family or an individual can be placed into a home in as little as one week or less.

Can we move into our house before I detach from my old command?

YES! You will be paying rent equal to your BAH allotment. Initial minimum lease requirement is six months followed by a automatic month to month agreement.

We want to live on base - what do we need to get the process started?

First things first, take a "WOW" tour and see all that TCC offers. Next visit the Military Housing Office. The Parris Island Housing Office is located at 402 Boulevard de France. The MCAS Housing Office is located at the BLDG 1140 on the Air Station.

Make sure you have all of the appropriate documents: Housing application, Privacy Act, Copy of detach orders, Dependency Applications from SRB/OQR, custody papers for children from previous marriages, if applicable.
